[وحدهم المديرون لديهم صلاحيات معاينة هذه الصورة]Hanover missed the chance to go clear at the top of the Bundesliga after conceding a late goal in a 1-1 draw at home to Hertha Berlin Sunday.
The result leaves Borussia Moenchengladbach - 4-1 winners over Wolfsburg on Friday - on top, level on seven points with Hanover, with seven teams a point behind.
Midfielder Sergio Pinto put Hanover ahead in the 33rd minute when his low-struck free-kick found its way through the wall and inside the post.
But substitute Pierre-Michel Lasogga finished off a fine move for Hertha seven minutes from time when he steered in a low cross from the right from Christian Lell.
The game ended in controversy when Hanover had a an 89th-minute goal disallowed after a free-kick from Christian Pander sailed into the net. Television pictures showed no offside but the linesman had his flag up after seeing a foul from Didier Ya Konan on Maik Franz.
Hanover coach Mirko Slomka left the pitch in heated discussion with the match officials.
"There was no offside and there was no foul, it was a good goal," Slomka said. "It's a pity for us because we would have been top of the table."
The draw ended a fine winning run this season for Hanover including two wins in the league and two victories in cup and Europa League fixtures.
Mainz earlier also missed the chance to go top when they conceded a two-goal half-time lead to slide to a 4-2 defeat at home to Schalke.
Klaas Jan Huntelaar, Benedikt Hoewedes, Joel Matip and Christian Fuchs scored after the break for the visitors who had looked ineffective in the first half.
Schalke had been boosted before the game by Spanish striker Raul who said he wanted to fulfil his contract with the Blues until the end of the season.
Raul and coach Ralf Rangnick had held talks early Sunday to discuss the 34-year-old player's future following speculation he was seeking a move.
"We are all happy that he is staying," Rangnick said. "Now we can concentrate on the tasks ahead. The speculation which had not made the work here easier over the past few weeks will now stop."
Raul was involved in two of the goals in what had looked an unlikely result after Mainz led comfortably at the break.
The home side took command after Andreas Ivanschutz got on the end of a Zoltan Stieber free-kick in the seventh minute, and Elkin Soto mopped up after keeper Ralf Faehrmann could only parry a shot from Sami Allagui.
But Dutch striker Huntelaar netted eight minutes after the break as Schalke turned the game around.
Lewis Holtby found Raul who, with only keeper Heinz Mueller to beat, laid the ball to Huntelaaer who tapped in.
Schalke levelled seven minutes later when central defender Howedes headed in a Jefferson Farfan corner at the far post.
Another Farfan corner nine minutes from time led to defender Matip diving to head over the line from close range after the ball bounced off team-mate Kyriakos Papadopoulos and was headed on by Raul.
Fuchs, who joined Schalke from Mainz in June, completed the scoring when he curled a free-kick past the wall in the last minute.
The result moves Schalke level on six points with Mainz, Bayern Munich, Werder Bremen, Borussia Dortmund, Hoffenheim and Bayer Leverkusen.
On Saturday, champions Dortmund defeated Nuremberg 2-0, while Bayern downed SV Hamburg 5-0.
At the other end of the table, Freiburg, Hamburg and bottom club Cologne are on one point.
