Australian international Harry Kewell is set to join Melbourne Victory and play out his football career in his home country, news reports said Saturday.
The injury-prone 32-year-old, off-contract after leaving Turkish side Galatasaray at season's end, has agreed a three-year deal with the A-League club.
Kewell, who has turned out 50 times for the Socceroos, left Australia as a 16-year-old and has had stints with English Premier League sides Leeds and Liverpool.
The four-time World Cup player will become the biggest name to play in the A-League after appearances by former Premier League stars Dwight Yorke and Robbie Fowler. dpa sa tl Author: Sid Astbury
